As we welcome 2025, we’re excited to share some updates, celebrate our recent successes, and look forward to the year ahead. Your support and engagement have made all of this possible—thank you for being part of our journey.

Newcastle Piano Festival Update
We’re thrilled to announce that, thanks to your generosity and our incredible fundraising efforts, we raised £6,400 for the Mentorship Programme during the Newcastle Piano Festival! This programme is designed to give young people hands-on experience in arts management, event planning, and performance production. If you know a young person who might benefit, please get in touch—we’d love to involve them in this empowering opportunity.
As we gear up for this year’s festival, we’re looking for an admin volunteer to join our team. If you have a knack for organisation and would love to help promote an inspiring event, please reach out to us at [email address].
Howay the Lasses Updates
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas concerts, where we brought joy and festive cheer through music. We’re already planning our next big event: International Women’s Day at Gibside. Mark your calendars for Saturday, 8th March 2025—a day filled with music and celebration of women in the arts. More details coming soon!

• Collaborations with local and international artists brought new perspectives to our work.
• We expanded our reach with new initiatives supporting young and neurodivergent musicians.

We’re committed to making 2025 even more impactful, with a focus on diversity, innovation, and creating opportunities for underrepresented voices in music. Here’s how you can get involved:
• Share your skills as a volunteer—whether it’s admin, social media, or event management.
• Sponsor an event or programme—your support makes a huge difference.
